واژهها کمکم روحی تازه را میبافند — چون دری نیمهباز، یادی لطیف و پیامی آکنده از نور؛ این روح نو در هر لحظه به ما نزدیک میشود و نگاه ما را دوباره به مرکز وجودمان فرا میخواند. به ما یادآوری میکند که هر کدام از ما، حتی در میان سردرگمیهایمان، شعلهای کوچک در سینه داریم که میتواند عشق و اعتمادِ درونمان را در مجالی گرد هم آورد که در آن نه مرزی هست، نه کنترل و نه هیچ شرطی. میتوانیم هر روز زندگی خود را همچون دعایی تازه زندگی کنیم — بیآنکه منتظر نشانهای عظیم از آسمان باشیم؛ تنها کافیست امروز، تا جایی که میتوانیم، با رضایت در آرامترین اتاق دلمان بنشینیم، بیعجله و بیگریز، و در همین دم با هر نفسمان اندکی از بارِ زمین را سبکتر کنیم. اگر سالهای طولانی به خود گفتهایم که «من هرگز کافی نیستم»، همین امسال میتوانیم با صدای واقعیِ خود نجوا کنیم: «من اکنون اینجا هستم، و همین کافیست»، و در همین زمزمه است که تعادلی نو و مهری نو در درون ما سر برمیآورد.
