I když jsme uprostřed zmatku, každý z nás nese malý plamínek; ten plamínek má sílu spojit lásku a víru v jediném místě uvnitř — tam, kde nejsou podmínky, nejsou zdi, není tlak. Každý den můžeme prožít jako novou modlitbu — aniž bychom čekali na velké znamení z nebe; dnes, v tomto nádechu, si můžeme dovolit na chvíli tiše sedět v tiché místnosti srdce, bez strachu, bez spěchu, jen si všímat dechu, jak přichází a odchází. V té jednoduché přítomnosti už dokážeme o trochu odlehčit tíhu světa. Pokud jsme si celé roky šeptali „nikdy nejsem dost,” letos se můžeme učit říkat pravým hlasem: „Teď jsem opravdu tady, a to stačí.” V tom jemném šepotu začíná klíčit nová rovnováha, nová měkkost, nová milost.
